The Grand Aviation Chandelier Concept

The Grand Aviation Chandelier Concept
Copyright InterFlight Studio 2013

The Grand Aviation Chandelier Concept by InterFlight Studio, is truely a one of a kind design item.  These chandeliers are completely custom made for each specific client.  These chandeliers use the cowling from an original jet engine and turbine blades recycled from that same engine.  There are also three original airport landing strip lights that illuminate this chandelier.

Whether these custom chandeliers are for your home, office, lobby, or airport, they are sure to impress all who see them.  Their beauty will stand the test of time, and it is a great tribute to the magnificent machines they once were.

These chandeliers appease both men and women.  Women like the curving effect of the lights as they tumble down from the cowling.  Men, like the industrial feel of steel instead of the typical frilly decorations that ususally adorn chandeliers.

InterFlight Studio is the only gallery in the world representing artists and designers inspired by the magic of flight.  Recently, they have begun designing their own in house collection for special clients only.  This chandelier concept is one of those pieces from their new exclusive line.  For years, InterFlight Studio has been a leader in aircraft repurposed furniture.  They represent some of the best artists and designers who take the concept of 'green design' to a whole new level.

If you are an Interior Designer, we would like to hear feedback from you.  We are always interested in working with interior designers or architects to plan out something much larger than these simple concepts.
If you have a special client, we would love to help you fulfill their dreams.

NEW Executive Wing Desk Concept - InterFlight Studio

InterFlight Studio was founded by Oscar and Yvette Garcia.  Together they create one of a kind furniture and art sculptures inspired by flight and aviation.

Below you will see some photos of InterFlight Studio's newest concept.  The Executive Wing Desk, or "The Flying High Table".  Made from an original aircraft wing, and polished to the clients specifications and wishes, a grand and impressive table will be constructed using a sideways 'U' shape to hold the table up.  This shape will reflect the aerodynamic quality of the wing and emphasize the design without looking to commercial or expected.

This table can be made with a wood or steel base according to the clients wishes and expectations.  For more information about this executive wing desk please contact:  yvettegarcia@interflightstudio.com

Their Artist Statement:

Yvette and Oscar Garcia have been inspired by the magic of flight since their early childhood.  Meeting aboard a 747 aircraft, Oscar as a Pilot and Yvette as an adventurous globe-trotting passenger.
Since then, they have lived a flying life-love story immersed in the world of flight, fuelling their creativity and supported their joint work as designers and artists for more than  a decade.
Through their designs, Oscar and Yvette address the fundamental attributes of mankind’s possibilities through the magic of flight.
Their designs evoke and reflect, elegantly, the intelligent, creative, artistic and humanitarian dimensions of flight, in all their splendor.
“Our artist and designer vision is twofold, first to create and deliver unique items that embody the “art of flight” and give a sense of infinite space, time, peace and freedom. And second, to place our designs in spaces that allow the collectors, owners or viewers to share in the emotions and inspiration of flight”. Yvette Garcia states

We offer to our clients, private, public and corporate the opportunity to acquire and collect our art creations, designs, artifacts and objects and to  inspire them to be conscious, to look above, beyond and to marvel about flight, and the infinite sky and space around us.
